Hello Parents,

How are you doing?

As we are moving into this third quarter, the class is showing signs of being strong readers and writers. In our reading and phonics, the class is learning about oo sounds and their words. We are also reading and answering oodles of comprehension questions. For math, the class is wrapping up our place value unit. It has been a fairly easy concept for our group and I  am looking forward to starting our new unit.

On Monday, we are closed for Martin Luther King Jr Day. Please keep in mind on Tuesday we are having our 100th day of school celebration. Earlier in the week, I sent home a note about bringing in objects that can be glued for that day. It will be a super exciting day with lots of fun activities.

Just as a reminder….please make sure to label your child’s coats, as it will be easily located if the jacket is lost. I am trying to make sure we are looking out for lost items. Thank you!

Have a great week!

Ms. Trowbridge
