Fall Break Is Here!
Dear Parents,
We have officially completed the first quarter. I can hardly believe the time has gone so quickly.
In class, our firsties are continuing to practice blending words together and we are writing simple sentences. For math, we just finished our big addition unit. After the break, we will begin subtracting single digit numbers. During our writing block, our class has been writing a small book, using simple sentences. We are learning how to write with a beginning, middle, and ending.

Literacy Tip of the Week

Paper Drive
Our annual beginning of the year PAPER DRIVE is in full effect starting this week. The class with the MOST points will receive a teacher reward for participating is $100.00 classroom fund. Write your teacher’s name on the paper and send it to the front office. Middle School should put their HOMEROOM teacher on their paper.
