Dear Parents,

Happy Short Week! We are busy observing insects and working on becoming super readers.

In phonics, our class is focusing on dipthongs- oi, ou, ow, aw words. These are vowels combinations that create ne sounds in a word. For math, we are learning how to tell time using and analog or digital clock. At home, please practice with your child telling time.

Please remember the days are getting warmer. Moving towards May, the weather tends to increase in temperature. At school, the children are moving and need plenty of water. Please send additional water for your child, in order to prevent dehydration and headaches. Your child will be relieved! Thank you!

More Information-

Spring Concert

Date April 20th

Location San Tan Recker Campus Gymnasium

Please see flier for showtimes (listed by classroom). Students need to arrive 30 minutes before their listed show time. If you have multiple performers please keep them seated with you until their designated showtime (we will have plenty of seating this time!)

Performance Dress is Disney bounding or Disney inspired outfits. Please do not go out and spend a bunch of money on a costume. The idea is to use the everyday clothing found in your closet to represent a favorite character. Please refer to your child’s music teacher if you have any further questions regarding the concert.
