Dear Parents,
How are you?
I am so excited to enter these final, first grade weeks. The class has wrapped up MAP testing and I could tell that the class worked very hard. I am very proud of their effort and work.
In math, our class began fractions and their parts. We also discussed halves and fourths. Of course, I showed the class how to divide a pizza into these pieces. During our phonics block, we are continuing to work on words with kn, wr, and gn. This concept can be very tricky but I know with more practice the class will be great.

Graduation
Graduation is right around the corner! Kinder Graduation is May 26th at 9 am. If you have a Kindergartner, I will be sending out additional emails regarding the event.
End of the Year Awards Nights
Be sure join us for our end-of-the-year awards ceremonies May 17 for the Spring Athletics Awards and May 21 the Academic Awards for the 2021-22 school year.
