Before Spring Break
Dear Parents,
How are you? It has been a very busy week but the kids are ready for a great spring break. With that being said, I am shocked to see that we will be in our final quarter, when we return from spring break.
This week has been a wrap up week. For phonics, the students have begun bossy r words that include- ar, er, ir, or, and ur. The kids have laughed at how funny the r controlled vowels are. In math, our class has been practicing the many skills we have learned this quarter- adding two digits, subtracting two digits, and place value. After much practice, the class seems to have greater confidence and success on their math skills.

As I mentioned earlier, when we return form spring break, I have mixed emotions- sad and happy. The class has learned so much this year. Yet, I know summer is around the corner. Have a great break and I am sure we will finish on a wonderful note!
