Dear Parents,

 

Thank you for attending our musical concert. It was a great moment to see the children shine, while singing Disney-themed songs. I am so proud of their hard work.

 

In class, our phonics has continued to work on diphthongs this week. As the spelling words increase in difficulty, please practice these words with your child. Not only does it help with writing, spelling is a skill, which transfers to reading fluency. For math, we have been wrapping up our telling time unit. I can hardly believe it went so fast. During science, we are moving forward with insects and what makes an insect. It has been so much fun!

 

As we move toward the warmer weather, please remember to include enough  water for your child. Their little bodies are always in motion and each child needs to stay hydrated in the desert. Thank you!
