Dear Parents,

 

This week, the class began their MAP tests and I am sure they are doing great. During math, the class is exploring 2D and 3D shapes. 3D shapes have certain vertices and sides. For phonics, the class is working on aw, au, and all. Please don’t let your first grader get tricked by these sounds, when they are decoding words. With practice, students will be able to read these words with phonics mastery.

 

Tomorrow is a half day. Our school begins dismissal at 11am. If there are special arrangement, then feel free to send an email to me. Please plan accordingly for your child.

Lost and Found

Weekly on Wednesday’s we will donate all items left in Lost and Found to Goodwill. Please help your child to collect all their personal items from the Lost and Found area located inside the main building Recker hall across from the Recker library before Wednesday afternoon.
