Dear Parents,

 

What a wild week! The kiddos are talking about the holidays and it has been busy. So, I have pulled out my secret weapon….Elf Bob. As I explained to the kids, Elf Bob works in Santa’s office. Elf Bob has been getting texts and messages from me. If your child makes mention, I am sure they will give you the story.

 

In class, we have been reading the many Gingerbread Man versions. Through these reading activities, we have been talking about characters, setting, and plot. During our phonics, the children have begun the long a words and these can be very tricky. During math, our class has been focusing on counting on and tens/ ones.
