Dear Parents,
How are you? This week has been filled with Learning Celebrations and fun!
In class, our new unit is learning to read diagraphs- ch, th, ck, sh, wh, and ph. This phonics aspect is important to decoding words. In math, we are working hard on addition and subtraction fact families. Next week, I am so excited to begin our Thanksgiving Unit, which will encompass Pilgrims, Native Americans, and turkey.
Please remember our turkeys are due. We will display them in the hall. I am sure it will be fun to see our disguised turkeys.
Food and Toy Donations
San Tan Charter is hosting a food and toy drive from Nov. 1 through Nov. 23. There are drop off locations around campus for you to contribute canned meat, fruit, vegetables, and more!
Annie, the Musical
Auditions for our spring musical Annie will be held December 4th from 9:00AM-12:00PM or 1:00PM-4:00PM. We are looking to cast as many students as we can in this classic show! If you are interested in auditioning or being a part of the tech crew, please contact Mrs. McQuaid at jmcquaid@santancs.com”

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Volunteers
Occurring the day before Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is a tradition at San Tan Charter! Dr. and Mrs. Sippel began this tradition in the first Montessori Preschool class with bean soup. The tradition continues for families by bringing their own lunch and eating it picnic style outside as a community and brining desserts to share.
We are looking for volunteers to help us pull off this awesome event!
