Dear Parents,

Turkeys are in the air and the class has been learning a great deal about Thanksgiving. This week, our class has covered the Mayflower, Pilgrims, and the first Thanksgiving. In class, our group has been learning about graphing and how to use tally marks.

For Winter Concert, there was some question about where it is taking place. The Winter Concert will take place in the gym on December 13th at 5pm. The dress can be solid Black bottoms, solid white top and solid blue accents (examples: neck tie, hair bows, jewelry, shawl, scarf). Thank you!

 

Just A Few Dates To Keep In Mind-

 

  • Annual Holiday Food/Toy Drive- 11/7-11/22
  • Gobble Grams- 11/14-11/17
  • Charlie Brown Thanksgiving- 11/23
  • Thanksgiving Break – 11/24-11/25
  • MAP Testing- 11/27-12/8

 

 

On November 23rd, our school will be open for the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. We will open the front doors starting at 10:30. Charlie Brown Thanksgiving typically runs for around an hour and a half.

 

Picking Up Your Student

  • Guests are welcome to enter the building starting at 10:30 am. At this point, there is no need to sign in as a visitor.
  • All students will need to be checked out from the classroom that day as opposed to doing the Drive Lane Routine. Therefore, there will be NO DRIVELANE on this day.
  • There will be NO AFTERCARE on this day.
  • Guests will go to their student’s classroom and they may enter the classroom after the doors open.
  • Please let your classroom teacher know you are taking your student before you leave.
