Good Afternoon Families,
February has arrived and our class is focusing on how to be good friends. Our class is also working on vowel teams and how to identify them from long/ short vowels. The class is have a tricky time. During math, we are wrapping our place value unit. I am really proud of the class because they have worked so hard. This concept has seemed very easy for the class.
This week, I sent home a new Scholastic book order. It is due on February 8th. Please check out the great deals!
I also sent home a letter about Valentine’s boxes. Please take the time to have fun with this at home project. Secondly, I know this time can get very busy. For Valentine’s Day, I am asking that students fill out there cards by saying From or Love, Student A. By doing so, this will allow children to hand out cards very quickly at the end of the day.

Lost and Found
Weekly on Wednesday’s we will donate all items left in Lost and Found to Goodwill. Please help your child to collect all their personal items from the Lost and Found area located inside the main building Recker hall across from the Recker library before Wednesday afternoon.
