Dear Parents,
Welcome back from Fall Break. I was so excited to see your child today. After the break, I am so thrilled because the kids are excited and I am ready to move at a quicker pace. I cannot wait to see all the exciting experiences with your child.
Today, in your child’s green folder, I sent many new forms home. The first hand-out was the new sight words list. In quarter 1, I sent home a list to be mastered and returned. Your child will receive a reward when they have mastered all the sight words.
Secondly, as usual, I am a strong advocate for the literacy. There is a new Scholastic Book order. The new book order will be due on October 18th. Check out the great holiday books. I am sure you will enjoy choosing new reads for your child.
Finally, there is a new spelling list and I am sure the spelling words are a bit tough. Yet, they are sight words and I know we can practice to get better.
