Dear Parents,

A big thank you to meeting many new and returning families to our Open House. I am so excited to see how we will grow over the next year. So exciting!

Just a few extra thoughts…I am still in need of a Room Parent and it requires a big commitment. I also need of an Art Masterpiece parent. This position will require a parent to teach art to our class once a month. Please let me know if you are interested in any of these positions. There are many parents signed-up for field trip volunteers. Each volunteer will be required to have an Arizona Fingerprint card. It is available through the state.

Tomorrow, I am sending a green communication folder home with your child. In this folder, your child will bring home completed papers and any important school news. Within the next few weeks, I will be sending spelling lists and reading logs too. Stay tuned!

Dismissal

K – 6 Grades: 3:00-3:30

• We will be employing the School Dismissal Manager app for after school pick-up so that we can follow our safeguards and ensure the safety of our staff and students.
• You should have received an email from School Dismissal Manager earlier this morning. If you have questions regarding the downloading of the app, please call the front office for help.

School Day
• Specials will begin on Day one – please make sure that student have tennis shoes for PE.
• Please remember our nut-free policy for lunches. There are no microwaves available for student use in elementary school. Students will need to bring any utensils they may need.
• Please pack a healthy, quick, non-messy afternoon snack each day. Also, don’t forget water bottles!

Lunch Ordering
This is our hot meal program, when lunches are ready to start ordering. Attached are the instructions to sign up for My Hot Lunch Box
Your lunch lineup is as follows:

Wednesday – Jason’s Deli

Friday – Streets of New York
